It’s true. We are no longer going to have “blue chair time.” The prayer leader will never again invite intercessors to come up and sit in the first row of blue chairs. Our job does not any longer involve sitting in a blue chair and talking to Someone we can’t see, skipping a meal or two to do so.
Because our beloved blue chairs have been ousted by gray ones.
The gray ones are reasonably comfy. They look fine. But I still have to blink twice looking across the prayer room.
The era of the blue chair is over. *moment of silence*
