Yep yep. Today’s the day my family gets to celebrate when our most favoritest daddy-person was born! Love you, Dad!
For your birthday, I submit for your viewing pleasure the ultimate birthday kit-bash… A balloon wearing a party hat that looks like a birthday cake. Enjoy.

My dad’s birthday was yesterday(the 8th) and 8 in really close to 9 so that means our dads birthdays are pretty much the same day.
He is a good man and probably a really good writer/theologian/ musician/dancer and all those other things you can do so well OR maybe he is not and you just inherited it from someone else.
Praise God for our Fathers. Happy B-Day to Amanda’s dad.

Jared, you are very perceptive… He is an extremely good man, a very good writer, very smart in the Word, can rock out the three-finger chords on our keyboard (plus he’s a great singer and sound tech with a very good musical ear), and he invented “The Reverse Moonwalk.” If you get a chance sometime when he’s in town, you should ask to see it.
Hee! I like this. I get to brag on my Dad.

I inherited all of my talent, charm, and current mental condition from my kids. It does run in our family, mostly backwards.

Just like your moonwalk, eh? π

Wouldn’t a backwards moonwalk essentially look like… walking?
And… though this is more than a week and a half late (roughly half a day more than a week and a half)… Happy Birthday, Beattie dad! I, too, enjoy your children. And your wife. And you. (I experience each of you to varying degrees, but I enjoy all of it.)

Christine: As far as the reverse moonwalk, you’ve just got to see it. That’s all. He’s the only one I know who can do it just right… ask him when he’s in town for my graduation. π

Yes, my father can blame pretty much all of his pyschotic ways and gray hairs on me….
