I’m out of the loop… and whiny about it

26 Feb

I’m upstairs at FSM on break for my class. Downstairs is the monthly all-staff meeting… which will be over as soon as my class is done. I feel clueless. I have this nagging paranoia that I’m missing something of paramount importance downstairs.

Any of my blogging buddies who were actually there, please feel free to email me with the important stuff… Thanks. 😀

Two more modules and this will no longer be a problem…

Well Amanda i cant help you in regard to what is happening in that meeting of absolute importance… for alas i am in the same class as you…

But hopefully this saying rings true “misery loves company”, so we can be paranoid about the consequences of missing such a paramount meeting together

    *nervous laugh*

Misery loves company, and apparently leaves comments for its company from three feet away…

    😉

Shucks! I missed it also. I was told by miss Mosack that it was, and I quote, “probably the best meeting ever.”

Believe me… I share the feeling. Only I have more than two weeks of missed meetings and briefings and such (worship team meeting, E12s… all sorts of stuff). I have a feeling I am going to feel completely lost and behind when I get back to Kansas City.

So why is it that only people who weren’t at the meeting have felt the need to comment on this blog?

Like Jono said. Misery loves company.

Yeah, I for one don’t even want those other people to comment. We’re gettin’ along just fine by ourselves, thank you very much!

you know it’s funny one of the topics coverd was resisting to desire to complain… 😉 honestly the meeting was extremely slow and boring until the last 30 min, but those 30 min were amazing… so you didn’t that much…but yet you did… hmm a conundrum if I may say so…

Ummm… now that the pattern is broken, I’m with you, Matt. I don’t want those people to comment! Keep your comments to yourself… “resisting the desire to complain…” whatever. :-p

Yes, most of the meeting was boring, but I believe that that last half hour laid out the blueprint for this next season… We are on the cusp of profound rending!

I guess I got quite a bit of the blueprint part, then. I made it downstairs 10 or 5 minutes until 6.

And I just had to say that “cusp” is a fabulous word. Bonus points. I’ma have to find ways to use that in a sentence sometime…
