Lol, Mom and I went and saw the movie “Invincible” just after she had gone to visit dad in PA… When Mark Wahlberg’s character says “Hey, you want to go to Colombo’s? Best cheesesteaks in Philly…” She actually gasped… out loud… in the theater. She leaned over to me and said “No real Philadelphia person says that!” But the movie made up for it (I guess) when the two characters were sitting at a table… she leans over to me and says “That’s Geno’s! I’ve been there!”

Well, it’s located in the city, King of Prussia (or township… or neighborhood… or something… PA confuses me). Which, I have to agree that I think the city name is a bit odd too. It’s actually a really cool, really huge mall.

So far, I like Tony Luke’s (where Oregon crosses under 95), but any of the top 20 places I’ve heard about are pretty good, and I’m looking forward to giving Jim’s a try in the very near future…

Yeah… well… I still paid less money than you. (We could just keep going back and forth on that one for a long time if we don’t stop now.)

Mr. Liantonio (the Frank, not the Richard) told us about Jim’s. I’m planning on going next time I make it out to PA. And yes… there will be a next time that I make it out to PA. I have too long of a list of things I still want to do out here to not come back.

If you want a 45 minute line, go to Jim's Steaks on South St. I must say I am proud of you both, you have tasted of good things. I concur with the last sentence of the preceding comment - "Steve's Prince of Steaks" is the superior shop in my opinion, at rt 73 & Bustleton. CBB

Ahh…good ole philadelphia style “my way is better than yours” Americanism. I miss it. I could name one or two places in Jersey that are arguably better than pat’s and geno’s, but I am heavily biased against Pennsylvania…anyways…I miss cheesesteaks…

Small correction:
My hoodie was purchased at the Gap in the King of Prussia mall. This was pre-outlet-shopping. However, I did find it in the sale section and likely did pay a good deal less than you did. I’ve been recognizing my need to branch out from my Forerunner Bookstore hoodie. I wear that thing all the time. (And still probably will continue to wear it about 90% of the time. But I at least have options, now.
